All prices on this site are quoted exclusive of shipping. I ship all over the world, fully insured and with mercifully few problems!

Small items are packed in new, double-wall fibre-board cartons. The cartons are always on the generous size for the item, which is packed in bubble-wrap and polystyrene chips for security. The cartons have all seams taped, larger cartons are then polypropylene strapped. Printed address labels are stuck on the outside and placed inside. The cost of this packaging is included in the price quoted.

Larger items, including locomotives and traction engines, are almost invariably crated in purpose-built plywood packing cases. Engines are protected with bubble-wrap and securely battened down inside the crate for transit. Crates are despatched via a local courier who offers a fast, reliable service with full insurance. Crating and delivery is charged at cost - please ask for a quote.

You are more than welcome to collect items from my workshop near Lincoln by prior appointment. I prefer collections Monday - Friday 0800-1800, Saturday 0800-1300 or other times by arrangement - can't do Sundays I'm afraid.
