"Fixer uppers" From time to time we have engines come in which are too good to be listed as restoration projects, whilst at the same time needing work to bring them "up to scratch". Some have never been run from new and require basic commissioning work, others need various minor jobs doing which are detailed in the listing. I've decided to include most of the small engines - 1 inch scale or smaller traction engines and Gauge 1 or smaller locomotives - in this category, due simply to lack of time in the workshop to run the increasing number of these largely commercially-built engines that come through. All are guaranteed for three months, exactly the same as the engines listed above. |
